It recreates a late-SP GP40P-2 that survived into UP service after the 1996 merger, featuring faded lettering and ghosted paint paired with UP numbers, a large front plow, roof-mounted A/C, a 3600-gallon fuel tank, and ditch lights on both ends while SP-era lighting was removed and the front window altered to mirror prototype changes. The 1375 roster entry represents an ex-SP 7602 with ghosted SP markings, tall front ditch lights, a frame-mounted bell, and a K3 horn on the long hood.

Inside, the model carries a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds that operate in both DC and DCC modes with full DCC functionality.
