HO GP50 Norfolk Southern #7054 Plastic Model (ATHG65822)

An HO-scale Norfolk Southern GP50 diesel locomotive, designed for hands-on operation on model railroad layouts. This four-axle road switcher recreates the early-80s long-hood-forward look with a Phase I body, rounded blower housing, and the NS horse-head logo, providing an authentic Norfolk Southern presence on NS-era scenes.

Inside, the model features a full cab interior, see-through windows, scale handrails, etched steps, and a heavy die-cast frame for traction. It arrives ready-to-run and is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology via a 21-pin NEM connector, with McHenry scale knuckle couplers that are compatible with Kadee systems. RP25 contours ensure smooth running on HO track, and it’s suited to 18-inch minimum radius curves (22 inches recommended). Some versions also include onboard DCC with Tsunami2 sound for enhanced operation.
