HO GP50 with DCC and Sound BN #3126 (ATHG65925)

An HO-scale GP50 diesel locomotive, Burlington Northern road number 3126, with DCC and sound. This ready-to-run model faithfully reproduces BN’s late-1980s appearance, including an orange front with the prototype beacon and the Phase II body with an angled blower housing. The 3126 variant features an orange/black front and a Western Cullen beacon, reflecting BN’s era-specific livery that railfans describe as the “Tiger stripes” look.

Inside, a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound delivers engine, horn, and bell effects with dual speakers for clear, balanced audio. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and it uses RP25-contoured wheels on a heavy die-cast frame with all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet operation and strong pulling power. The locomotive includes a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, etched see-through steps, wire grab irons, scale handrails, and a detailed fuel-tank assembly. It’s primed for grime weathering to reproduce an in-service look and is designed for layouts with minimum 18" radius curves (22" recommended).
