HO-scale GP39-2u locomotive in BNSF livery, built to capture the late-1990s Santa Fe heritage and the post-merger BNSF repaint era for authentic model railroad operation. The model features a Phase 1 GP39-2u body with chickenwire grilles, illuminated swing-out number boards, a newly tooled exhaust stack, forward ditch lights, and a rear-mounted fuel tank, wrapped in a fresh BNSF finish. The 2773 road-number variation adds distinctive details like a Phase 1 body with chickenwire grilles, a Leslie 3-chime horn, an added access equipment door behind the cab, a nose headlight, and large cab numbers with a small nose logo.

Designed for HO layouts, this GP39-2u delivers extensive scale modeling detail and reliable performance. It rides on a heavy die-cast frame with RP25 wheels, uses body-mounted scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible), and offers see-through cab windows with a full interior, fine Celcon handrails, and etched fan grilles. LED lighting provides realistic appearance, and the model is DCC-ready with Quick Plug 21-pin NEM connectivity; sound-equipped versions include a Tsunami2 decoder with dual speakers for operation on both DC and DCC.
