HO MP15AC Locomotive GMTX No. 319 is a compact, AC-powered light road switcher. Based on the 1970s EMD MP15AC design, it’s built for yard duty and light freight runs, delivering authentic operation and a ready-to-run HO-scale model that captures the era’s drive and detailing.

Powered by a Genesis driveline with a five-pole motor and a heavy die-cast frame for smooth, quiet performance and reliable power pickup, the model features full cab interior, see-through windows, wire grab irons, and other fine details. GMTX-specific touches include ground lights, front and rear ditch lights, and cab-mounted equipment, while the road-number features for No. 319 replicate an ex-SOO/MILW, all-black repaint with a cab-mounted 3-chime horn, frame-mounted bell, dual Xenon strobes (DC/DCC effects), a small fuel tank, and a ratchet brake. The model is DCC-ready with Quick Plug and a 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped versions carry onboard DCC decoders with SoundTrax Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers for realistic engine, horn, and bell sounds. A minimum 18-inch radius accommodates most HO layouts, and the unit arrives fully assembled and ready to run.
