This detailed model reproduces CSX's ex-Reading/D&H heritage with authentic CSX artwork and colors, illuminated number boards, and front and rear ditch lights. The #4311 variant adds a tall front EMD-style ditch light, a CSX rear ditch light (alternating in DCC mode), a small front plow, and mixed Hyatt and Timkin bearing Blomberg B trucks with outer brake shoes removed for prototype accuracy.

Under the hood, this GP39-2 delivers realistic operation with DCC-ready Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector for easy decoder installation. Sound-equipped versions feature a Tsunami2 onboard decoder with dual speakers for engine, horn, and bell sounds that work in both DC and DCC, plus full DCC functions and CV customization.
