HO MP15AC Locomotive in Southern Pacific livery is a compact, ready-to-run HO-scale switcher that captures EMD’s MP15AC with its AC traction system and SP styling. It’s designed for realistic yard work and short-haul runs on model railroads, and includes DCC control with onboard Tsunami2 sound in the sound-equipped version to bring engine, horn, and bell to life on the layout.

Under the hood, the model features a Genesis driveline with a five-pole skew-wound motor and a heavy die-cast frame for smooth, quiet operation and solid pulling power. All-wheel drive and electrical pickup help maintain steady power across curves, while RP25-contoured wheels ensure compatibility with common HO track. Scale detail is extensive, including a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, wire grab irons, lift rings, windshield wipers, and SP touches like ground lights, ditch lights, a hood-mounted bell, a Nathan P3 horn, SP cab number boards, and a full SP lighting package on both ends. The sound version adds an onboard DCC decoder with Tsunami2 and dual speakers, offering engine, horn, and bell sounds with NMRA-compatible functions and CV-based customization.
