HO Scale MP15AC Locomotive with DCC and Sound in NY&A livery is a compact yard switcher designed for handling cars and local freight on an HO layout. This model recreates the MP15AC’s AC-drive setup and includes a DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell effects. Ready to run, it uses a Quick Plug plug‑and‑play 21-pin DCC interface for easy integration on modern layouts, while the Genesis driveline and a five-pole motor deliver smooth, quiet operation.

The NY&A version features ground lights, front and rear ditch lights, and a hood-mounted bell along with a five-chime horn for prototypical signaling. It carries fine-scale details such as a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, wire grab irons, and separately applied detail parts, all mounted on a heavy die-cast frame for better traction. Wheelwise it uses RP25-contoured wheels with all-wheel electrical pickup and McHenry scale knuckle couplers that are Kadee-compatible. The model is designed for both DC and DCC operation; in DCC mode, all functions are NMRA-compliant, and a CV chart is included for fine-tuning.
