An HO-scale Pacific Car & Foundry smooth-side 50-foot insulated boxcar with a 10'6" door, faithfully reproduced to reflect 1960s-era equipment built to haul temperature-sensitive freight such as canned goods.

Details include separate wire grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms and an etched roofwalk, along with a full underframe featuring an air-brake reservoir, control valve and brake cylinder with plumbing. The model is weighted for smooth, reliable operation and rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. It uses body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers, plus lift bars, trainline hoses and brake hoses for added realism. A cushion underframe, along with accurately painted and printed detailing on a highly detailed injection-molded body, completes the look. Minimum layout radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches or more recommended for best performance on typical layouts, and the design is compatible with most popular brands of track.
