An HO-scale 50-foot PC&F insulated boxcar, faithfully reproduced to reflect a Pacific Car & Foundry design used by EFCX in the 1960s, bringing an era-appropriate temperature-protected freight car to HO layouts. The model features separately applied wire grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and an etched roofwalk where applicable, plus a fully detailed underframe with air brake reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinders with plumbing. It is weighted for steady, reliable operation and rolls on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours. Body-mounted, McHenry® scale double-shelf knuckle couplers maintain prototypical coupling behavior, while trainline hoses and brake hoses, lift bars, and other hardware add authentic detail. The car is accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism, and the injection-molded body provides a crisply detailed finish. Minimum curve radius is 18 inches, with 22 inches recommended for best performance on typical HO layouts.
