An HO-scale SD70M locomotive with DCC and sound, finished in CSX’s YN2 livery and numbered 4698. This model recreates a CSX ex-EMDX SD70M unit, featuring road-number-specific detailing and expert-approved CSX colors for an authentic prototype look on HO layouts.

Designed for realistic operation, it uses a Genesis drivetrain with a 5-pole skew-wound motor and a heavy die-cast frame for strong pulling power. The onboard DCC decoder with SoundTrax Tsunami2 sound runs in both DC and DCC, with full function control in DCC mode. Lighting is LED, cab windows are see-through with a detailed interior, and the model includes scale handrails and walkways. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, features body-mounted McHenry scale-knuckle couplers compatible with Kadee, and RP25 wheel contours for reliable pickup.
