Designed for authentic HO-scale operation, it features ONT-specific details such as deck-mounted front and rear ditch lights, a PTC antenna array, late four-panel radiator body, a sloped EMD cab nose, and a small front plow, plus trucks with exposed bearings to match prototype variations. The model carries a full cab interior visible through see-through cab windows, fine-scale Celcon handrails, LED lighting, and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers compatible with Kadee. A heavy die-cast frame and Genesis drivetrain deliver solid pulling power, with all-wheel drive and electrical pickup for smooth, quiet operation on layout tracks, and RP25 wheel contours for reliable tracking. Sound-equipped versions include an on-board DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, operable in both DC and DCC modes with full function control, and CV-based customization (CV chart included). Minimum radius is 18 inches, with a recommended 22 inches for best performance on curves.
