This HO-scale model faithfully recreates EMD’s SD75M in Santa Fe’s late-1980s/early-1990s Superfleet scheme, delivering an authentic silhouette and detailing for era-accurate layouts. It includes an onboard DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, featuring engine, horn, and bell effects, with operation on both DC and DCC and full DCC functionality when configured. Realistic LED lighting highlights the prototype look, while see-through cab windows reveal a full cab interior. Fine Celcon handrails and body-mounted scale knuckles provide a true-to-scale appearance and reliable coupling with freight cars.

For layout performance, the model employs a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precision machined flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain for smooth, powerful pulling power. All-wheel electrical pickup and RP25-contoured wheels help it track cleanly on a wide range of HO track, and LED lighting stays visible in both day and night scenes. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play support and a 21-pin NEM connector, plus a CV chart to tailor sound and operation. A minimum 18-inch radius is recommended, with 22-inch curves or larger preferred for optimal handling through curves and yards.
