An HO-scale Southern Pacific MT-4 4-8-2 Mountain locomotive, this model reproduces the MT-4 class with the distinctive Skyline casing added starting in 1939 for a streamlined silhouette. It is available with or without the Skyline housing and can be finished in the Daylight red-and-orange scheme that briefly appeared on the San Joaquin Daylight service.

Designed for HO layouts, it features authentic details such as metal handrails, builder’s plates, cab interior elements, non-operating classification lights, blackened metal wheels, adjustable cab windows and doors, see-through running boards with safety tread, and a riveted firebox with a detailed backhead. It runs on McHenry scale knuckle couplers and, on compatible layouts, can negotiate a minimum 22-inch radius. The Mt-4 era spans roughly 1926–1958, with some versions offering modern enhancements like LED headlights and dual cube speakers for richer sound, plus upgraded harness and improved electrical pickup for smoother operation.
