Sound-equipped versions carry a tender-mounted DCC decoder with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers for rich audio, while an LED headlight provides clear visibility. It runs on both DC and DCC with full functions, and CV adjustments let operators tailor speed and sound. Improvements like upgraded electrical pickup wipers, a sturdier loco-to-tender connection, and better traction between tires and rails help ensure smooth operation on standard HO curves, and the front coupler pocket accepts an operating coupler, aligning with SP’s Mt-4 presentation from 1926 to 1958.
