HO GP38-2 Locomotive with DCC and Sound, NS #5295 (ATHG71827)

HO GP38-2 Locomotive with DCC & Sound in Norfolk Southern livery is designed to bring NS's Conrail-patched GP38-2s to life on a layout. The NS 5295 road-number-specific example features period details such as mid-phase chicken-wire grilles, drop steps on both ends, a squared air-filter box, a short fuel tank, a Sinclair antenna, and a small front plow, along with operating class lights, illuminated number boards, and forward and rear ditch lights topped by the Leslie 3-chime horn.

Sound-equipped operation comes from an onboard DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers, delivering engine, horn, and bell audio in both DC and DCC modes. Built around a Genesis drive with a heavy die-cast frame, it includes fine-scale Celcon handrails, see-through cab windows with a full interior, body-mounted McHenry knuckle couplers, Blomberg M trucks, and RP25 wheels for reliable tracking.
