The HO 50' PC&F boxcar features a highly detailed, injection-molded body that has been accurately painted and printed to reflect prototypical realism. The model includes separate wireform grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and a meticulously detailed underframe complete with an air brake reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinder along with plumbing and brake rod details. Due to its weighted design, it ensures optimal performance while operating on popular brands of track.

This boxcar is built with trucks that feature animated rotating bearing caps and is equipped with body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers for ease of connection. Additionally, the car comes with coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, and brake hoses for added detail. The model is built to run on a minimum radius of 18 inches, with a recommended radius of 22 inches, making it versatile for various layouts.
