The HO 50' PC&F boxcar is a model that faithfully replicates a 50-foot prototype, featuring both 8-foot and 6-foot doors. Designed for model railroaders, this boxcar includes a highly detailed, injection-molded body, ensuring visual appeal and realism. Additionally, it is equipped with separate wire form grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and/or etched metal roofwalk for added accuracy.

Performance has not been overlooked; the boxcar is weighted appropriately for optimum operation and includes a full underframe detail featuring an air brake reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinder with detailed plumbing and brake rods. Moreover, this model comes with trucks sporting animated rotating bearing caps and body-mounted McHenry scale double-shelf knuckle couplers.

With machined metal wheels that comply with RP25 contours, it operates smoothly on all popular track brands. The accurate painting and printing contribute to its prototypical realism, while the minimum track radius requirement of 18 inches ensures compatibility with various setups, with a recommended radius of 22 inches.
