The HO 50' PC&F boxcar is a highly detailed model of a classic freight car. With its intricate design, it features separate wireform grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and an etched metal roofwalk, contributing to its realistic appearance. The full underframe detail includes an air brake reservoir, control valve, and brake cylinder complete with plumbing and brake rod details, ensuring accuracy in model representation.

This model is designed for optimum performance, featuring weighted elements and trucks with animated rotating bearing caps. It comes equipped with McHenry® scale double-shelf knuckle couplers and includes coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, and brake hoses for enhanced realism.

The body is crafted from highly detailed, injection-molded materials and accurately painted for prototypical realism. With machined metal wheels that have RP25 contours, this boxcar operates smoothly on all popular track brands. It is optimized for use on a minimum 18” radius, with a recommended radius of 22” for best performance.
