HO MP15AC Locomotive LSRC 1501 is a detailed, ready-to-run HO-scale switcher that faithfully recreates Lake State Railway’s MP15AC. This fully assembled model is designed for yard work and short- to mid-distance moves on HO layouts, and it sports a full cab interior, see-through windows, wire grab irons, a detailed fuel tank, and per-road-number decal placement and antenna styling. DCC-ready versions use a 21-pin plug for easy digital control, while sound-equipped models feature Tsunami2 sound with dual cube speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds.

On the rails, this MP15AC delivers smooth, reliable performance thanks to a heavy die-cast frame, a five-pole skew-wound motor, and all-wheel electrical pickup for steady current. It rides on Blomberg-B trucks with RP25 wheel contours and includes separately applied photo-etched metal and injection-molded detail parts, along with features like flexible MU hoses and trainline hoses, windscreen wipers, lift rings, and walkways. Couplers are McHenry scale knuckle types (Kadee-compatible), and the model is built for HO layouts with an 18-inch minimum radius. New features include operating ditch lights and ground lights when equipped, a more powerful, quieter motor, and, in DCC/sound variants, Tsunami2 sound with dual speakers and full lighting control.
