Union Pacific HO Scale SD60M Tri-Clops Locomotive with DCC and Sound, UP 2285. This highly detailed HO model recreates UP’s late red sill era, featuring the distinctive Tri-Clops three-window cab, front illuminated number boards, and front ditch lights for authentic night running. It’s offered in four road-number variations with unique detailing, including a weathered “Primed for Grime” option to capture an in-service look out of the box.

Under the shell, the locomotive pairs a Genesis driveline with a five-pole motor and all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet tractive effort in a heavy die-cast frame. Highlights include LED lighting, see-through cab interior, fine-scale Celcon handrails, and McHenry scale knuckle couplers with Kadee compatibility. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug and a 21-pin NEM connector, and, when equipped with the included SoundTraxx Tsunami2 decoder, delivers onboard sound through dual speakers for both DC and DCC operation.
