This model recreates UP’s late red-sill era with front illuminated number boards and front ditch lights, and is offered in four paint variations, including a grime-ready option for simulating weathered motive power. For 2365, the scheme features a high lightning stripe repaint with UP wings, a large EMD-style plow, and a firecracker antenna to mirror the prototype’s distinctive appearance.

The Tri-Clops design combines meticulous detailing with modern operability. Expect see-through cab windows with a full interior, lit number boards and other lighting features, plus scale-ready details like coupler cut levers, MU hoses, walkways, windshield wipers, lift rings, wire grab irons, and fine-scale handrails. Built on a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor and a heavy die-cast frame for traction, it offers smooth, quiet operation with all-wheel drive and RP25-contoured wheels. DCC-ready Quick Plug technology with a 21-pin NEM connector keeps installation straightforward, while sound-equipped versions include a DCC decoder with Tsunami2 sound and dual cube speakers that operate in both DC and DCC, with full function control in DCC mode. A minimum 18" radius is recommended, with 22" providing the best all-around performance on HO layouts.
