It recreates BN’s Tri-Clops three-window cab and period features, including forward ditch lights, illuminated front and rear number boards, white anticlimbers, and a small EMD front plow. The model reflects BN’s mid‑1990s move to standard front ditch lights for better visibility and realism across the roster.

Performance features include a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, all-wheel drive, and a heavy die-cast frame for strong, quiet traction. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and it offers scale-detail elements such as see-through cab windows with a full interior, Celcon handrails, McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible), LED lighting, lit number boards, and optional lit class lights or beacons.
