It features front-illuminated number boards, front ditch lights, a large front plow, and a PTC antenna array, with nose detailing reflecting prototype variations in anti-skid patterns and window gaskets. The model reflects prototype heritage across multiple railroads, including ex-UP assignments, delivering a convincing centerpiece for a modern HO freight roster.

Power and control come from a DCC-ready platform with on-board SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and two speakers for lifelike engine, horn, and bell effects, operable on both DC and DCC layouts with full DCC functionality.
