Recreating the distinctive Tri-Clops 3‑window cab, it includes an onboard DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound for authentic engine, horn, and bell effects, with operation possible on both DC and DCC power.

Prototype-inspired details include illuminated front and rear number boards, front ditch lights, a PTC antenna array, and a see-through cab with a full interior. The locomotive rides on a heavy die-cast frame with Genesis drivetrain, a 5-pole skew-wound motor, and all-wheel drive for smooth, quiet pulling. LED lighting and RP25-contour wheels enhance realism on HO track, while McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible) ensure reliable operation.
