This HO-scale NSC 6400 Gondola Car, CWSX, is a detailed reproduction of National Steel Car’s 69-foot, 6400-cubic-foot capacity gondolas first built in 2006. These open-top freight cars feature fixed sides and ends with a solid bottom and are typically seen in scrap-metal service. The model captures nine build variations spanning 2006 to the present, with multiple body styles, end variations, top chords, and ladder configurations to reflect the prototype’s diversity.

Beyond appearance, it includes authentic detailing such as metal grab irons, etched crossover platforms where applicable, and accurately replicated brake piping.
