HO FCA VersaCoil Gondola NOKL #385035 (ATHG77008)

HO VersaCoil Gondola is an HO-scale coil-car designed for efficient coil handling on model railways. Its transverse trough design allows coils ranging from 30 to 72 feet to be loaded quickly and safely, and Phase 2 bodies, including the NOKL variant, feature removable hoods for added realism.

Detail-focused features include separate wireform grab irons, etched metal coupler platforms, and 100-ton roller bearing trucks with rotating bearing caps. Additional touches such as coupler lift bars, trainline hoses, brake hoses, and hardware, along with machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers, create authentic operation. The car is weighted for smooth performance on HO-scale layouts, with a minimum operating radius of 18 inches and a recommended radius of 22 inches; removable coils and other fine underbody details round out the model’s faithful replication of VersaCoil coil-car design.
