Designed for authentic operation, it features metal grab irons, etched crossover platforms where applicable, and precise brake piping with metal and plastic components. It rides on newly-tooled Barber S-2-E 100-ton trucks with animated bearing caps and printed road numbers, and it’s weighted to NMRA standards for reliable performance. The model uses body-mounted McHenry lower-shelf couplers and is suitable for HO layouts with a minimum curve radius of 22 inches, with 24 inches recommended for smooth running.
