HO-scale VIA Rail Canada Genesis locomotive with DCC and sound brings VIA's modern passenger power to a layout. Faithfully reproduced in the teal and green VIA livery, it features a newly tooled nose with VIA-specific details, an alternate air dryer, and an extra-bright front light added during VIA's 2015 repaint. The locomotive rides on a redesigned die-cast frame with all-wheel electrical pickup, RP25 wheel contours, and LED lighting including headlights and marker lights. It uses McHenry scale knuckle couplers (Kadee-compatible), is DCC-ready with Quick Plug 21-pin wiring, and includes a CV chart for tuning.
