HO-scale Amtrak Genesis P40DC Phase III locomotive is a detailed, ready-to-run model that faithfully recreates Amtrak’s modern Phase III Genesis units. It features a newly-tooled body with cab-mounted strobe lights and an emergency light (operational in DCC), a single Sinclair antenna, a five-chime horn, and a rear hostler window, plus front and rear marker lights and authentic Amtrak artwork. Four nose variations reflect Amtrak as-built with strobes, Amtrak as-built without strobes, Amtrak rebuilt, and Via Rail Canada, capturing the fleet’s different appearances.

On the rails, it delivers smooth operation with a Genesis driveline, including a 5-pole motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain, plus all-wheel drive for dependable traction. LED headlights, ditch lights, and marker lights enhance realism, and the model is available in both DC and DCC-ready formats, with sound-equipped versions featuring a Tsunami2 decoder and dual 28mm speakers for authentic engine, horn, and bell sounds.
