Inside, the GP7 rides on a heavy die-cast frame with Blomberg-B trucks and RP25 wheel contours for solid traction and quiet running. It’s DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology and a 21-pin NEM connector, and it includes an onboard SoundTraxx Tsunami2 decoder with dual cube speakers for engine, horn, and bell sounds that work in both DC and DCC; full DCC functions are available in DCC mode. Exterior detailing includes etched radiator and fan grilles, scale Celcon handrails, LED lighting, and see-through cab windows with a full interior.
