HO GP7 Locomotive with DCC & Sound in MEC's simplified green livery (MEC #564) is an HO-scale diesel model that faithfully recreates EMD's GP7 for model railroad layouts. It captures era detailing such as a winterization hatch, full sill skirts, a nose-mounted bell, and tall MU stands, along with see-through cab windows and a fully detailed interior. The model includes a DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound, delivering authentic engine, horn, and bell effects, while a Genesis driveline with a 5-pole motor and all-wheel drive provides smooth, quiet operation and reliable pulling power.

Designed for HO layouts, it fits standard track with an 18" minimum radius and uses body-mounted scale knuckle couplers compatible with popular brands.
