HO GP9 Phase II Locomotive in Chicago & North Western livery, number 1756, is an HO-scale model designed to bring authentic late GP9 detail and dependable, ready-to-run performance to a model railroad.

Fully assembled and ready to run, it features a full cab interior with see-through windows, wire grab irons, etched radiator grilles, and other period detailing, plus Blomberg-B trucks, RP25-contoured wheels, and a heavy die-cast frame for traction. The Genesis driveline with a 5-pole skew-wound motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain delivers smooth, quiet power and reliable current pickup from all wheels. It is DCC-ready with Quick Plug plug-and-play technology using a 21-pin NEM connector, and sound-equipped variants include onboard Tsunami2 sound with dual speakers, operable in both DC and DCC modes. Painted and decaled to prototype schemes, the model is designed for 18" minimum radius curves (22" recommended) for smooth layout operation.
