HO GP9 Diesel Locomotive — a detailed, ready-to-run HO-scale model that faithfully reproduces the GP9 switcher. It’s designed for model railroad layouts, delivering a realistic silhouette and interior realism with a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, wire grab irons, etched radiator and fan grilles, scale handrails, and other prototype-inspired details.

Under the hood, a robust drive system with a heavy die-cast frame, five-pole skew-wound motor, and multi-link drivetrain provides smooth, quiet operation and solid pulling power. The model rides on RP25 wheels with all-wheel electrical pickup for dependable performance on popular track brands, and features bidirectional LED lighting for consistent brightness. DCC-ready with plug-and-play Quick Plug technology and a 21-pin NEM connector; some variants include onboard DCC with SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound and dual speakers for integrated locomotive sound. Fully assembled and ready-to-run, it carries fuel tanks, gauges, walkways, and other details that mirror the prototype, with a minimum 18" radius (22" recommended) for smooth operation on curves.
