Inside, an onboard DCC decoder powers SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound across two cube speakers for clear, balanced audio, with functionality that works in both DC and DCC modes. The model features full DCC functions and supports MU lashups, with a CV chart included for customization. A Genesis driveline with a five-pole motor, precision flywheels, and a multi-link drivetrain delivers smooth, quiet operation and strong pulling power, while RP25-contour wheels and a heavy die-cast frame enhance tracking and traction. Prototyping details include a full cab interior, see-through cab windows, etched radiator and fan grilles, and scale handrails, all built to be fully assembled and ready to run. DCC compatibility is facilitated by Quick Plug plug-and-play technology with a 21-pin NEM connector, and the model requires a minimum track radius of 18 inches (22 inches recommended) for optimum performance.
