HO ES44DC Locomotive with DCC & Sound BNSF #7685 (ATHG83200)

This HO-scale ES44DC locomotive with DCC and sound recreates a modern BNSF freight unit with precise detailing and ready-to-run convenience. It comes equipped with a DCC decoder and SoundTraxx Tsunami2 sound system, two speakers, and operation that works in both DC and DCC. A Quick Plug 21-pin interface makes DCC setup straightforward, and the model rides on a heavy die-cast frame with a 5-pole skew-wound motor and a multi-link drivetrain for smooth, quiet pulling, while LED headlights add realism to night-time operation.

Prototype accuracy is evident in the BNSF-specific detailing—antenna layout, nose door with window, Salem air filters, and Hi-Ad trucks—along with ES44-era refinements such as see-through cab windows, full cab interior, walkways, windshield wipers, and fine-scale Celcon handrails. The model is fully assembled and ready to run, with RP25 wheel contours for compatibility across HO layouts, a detailed fuel tank, and a DCC-ready Quick Plug interface for future upgrades. It also supports MU lashups and CV-based customization to tailor lighting, sounds, and performance to match the prototype.
