HO GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper Model (ATHG87485)

HO-scale Airslide Hopper model reproducing a 2,600-cubic-foot bulk freight car used in mid-century service to haul dry commodities such as flour, sugar and plastics. The Airslide design features two narrow, steep-sided bays with an air-permeable bottom that fluidizes the load for smooth discharge through the outlets. The model is offered in three body styles and supports both gravity and gravity-pneumatic discharge, mirroring real-world variations.

It features a highly detailed injection-molded body with precise underbody piping, a see-through metal roof walk, separately applied roof hatches and brake wheel, and body-mounted scale knuckle couplers. The model rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, is weighted for stable operation, and is designed to run on HO layouts with curves as tight as 18 inches in radius.
