This HO-scale GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper is a detailed model of a mid‑century bulk-commodity car designed to move materials like flour, sugar, and plastics on an HO layout. It recreates the Airslide concept with two narrow, steep-sided bays and an air-permeable bottom that is pumped with air to fluidize the load, allowing controlled discharge through the outlets. Finished in ATSF markings, it captures the car’s distinctive era-specific look for realistic operation on a model railroad.

Authentic detailing includes three different body styles, a highly detailed underbody with outlet piping, and rectangular or oval shaker brackets. The model offers gravity or gravity-pneumatic outlets, a see-through metal roof walk, factory-installed wire grab irons and brake piping, and separately applied round roof hatches and a brake wheel.
