An HO-scale replica of the GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper in Delaware & Hudson livery, this model recreates a mid‑century bulk-car designed for smooth unloading of powdered commodities. The Airslide concept uses two narrow, steep‑sided bays with an air‑permeable bottom and air drawn through to fluidize the load, helping flour, starch, sugar and plastics flow readily to the outlets. This faithful reproduction captures both the function and the era, giving model railroaders a realistic bulk‑cargo centerpiece for transitional and freight‑heavy layouts.

On the modeling side, the hopper features three body styles and a highly detailed injection‑molded body with accurate paint and printing. It rides on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours and can be fitted with either roller‑bearing or Bettendorf trucks. Details include a detailed underbody with outlet piping, factory‑installed wire grab irons and brake piping, separately applied round roof hatches and brake wheel, and a see‑through metal roof walk.
