HO GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper — Revere (GACX) Plastic Model Kit is a faithful HO-scale replica of General American Transportation’s Airslide bulk car. These 2,600-cubic-foot, single-bay hoppers were built to carry bulk materials such as flour, sugar, starch, and plastics, using a bottom air-permeable layer with air pumped through to fluidize the load for easy discharge. The kit reproduces authentic details including three body styles, rectangular or oval shaker brackets, a see-through metal roof walk, factory-installed wire grab irons and brake piping, separately applied round roof hatches and brake wheel, and gravity or gravity-pneumatic outlets.

This injection-molded model features a highly detailed underbody, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, and a choice of roller bearing or Bettendorf trucks. It is weighted for steady operation and uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers for reliable coupling, with accurate painting and printing to match the Revere scheme.
