HO-scale GATC 2600 Airslide Hopper in Revere livery is a faithful model of General American Transportation Company's classic bulk-carrier. Airslide hoppers were designed in the mid‑20th century to move bulk powders by fluidizing the load with air through a permeable bottom, allowing flour, starch, sugar, and plastics to flow smoothly through roof hatches and into the hopper outlets for controlled discharge.

The model is rich with scale details: three body styles, a detailed underbody with outlet piping, rectangular or oval shaker brackets, gravity or gravity-pneumatic outlets, and a see-through roof walk with separately applied round roof hatches and brake wheel. It rides on either roller bearing or Bettendorf trucks, features machined RP25 wheels, is weighted for stable operation, and uses body-mounted McHenry scale knuckle couplers.
