HO Trinity 3-Bay Covered Hopper DJTX #1 is a detailed HO-scale model that recreates a classic North American three-bay hopper. This 5,161-cubic-foot car was designed to carry agricultural products, sugar, and dry chemicals, and the model captures that purpose with faithful proportions and a realistic silhouette for authentic freight scenes on an HO layout.

Two body styles reproduce 10-panel and 12-panel variations, with authentic detailing such as a coupler cut lever and air hose on each end, a separate brake cylinder, valve and air reservoir with wire-brake plumbing, and a photo-etched metal roofwalk. The model rides on Genesis 100-ton trucks with animated spinning roller bearing caps, uses body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and features 36-inch machined metal wheels with RP25 contours for smooth operation on most track brands. It’s weighted for steady performance and designed to run on layouts with a minimum radius of 18 inches.
