Introducing the N‑Scale VersaCoil Gondola Car, a detailed coil‑car model designed to carry coils of different sizes in a transverse trough for faster, safer loading and unloading. This layout reflects the prototype’s versatility, with Canadian Pacific Phase 1 bodies shown without hoods and Phase 2 variants for NS, NOKL, and MBKX featuring removable hoods for added realism.

Built for reliable operation on model layouts, the car rides on screw‑mounted 100‑ton roller bearing trucks and body‑mounted McHenry lower‑shelf knuckle couplers. Machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, a precisely painted injection‑molded body, and a weight tuned for stable performance on most track brands come standard. The trough accommodates coils from 30 to 72 feet in length, and the model includes removable coils, detailed underbodies, etched metal platforms, rubber train‑line hoses, coupler cut levers, and metal grab irons, with removable hoods on prototype‑dependent variants. Minimum radius is 11 inches, with 15 inches recommended for smooth operation.
