N F89-F 89'8" TOFC Flat TTX/Yellow Model (ATHGN14365)

This F89-F 89'8" TOFC flatcar in yellow is an HO-scale model from Athearn Genesis that faithfully re-creates the classic Trailer Train/TTX flatcar used for Trailer-On-Flatcar service since the 1960s. Decorated, fully assembled and ready to run, it features a die-cast underframe and a highly detailed injection-molded deck that captures the car’s long, sturdy profile and distinctive side detailing.

Rooted in the early-1960s Trailer Train design with its recognizable C-channel side sills, this model includes raised and lowered hitches for multiple load configurations, wire-formed brake plumbing, and separately applied brake components such as ratchets, grab irons and ladders. It rides on 70-ton roller bearing ASF trucks with machined RP25 contours and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers, and is weighted for smooth, reliable tracking. Designed for intermodal trains or mixed freight, it accommodates a 22" minimum radius (24" or larger recommended) and pairs with trailers, containers, and other intermodal equipment to recreate authentic yard and line-side scenes.
