This decorated, ready-to-run model combines an 89-foot-8-inch F89-F flatcar with a 45-foot Fruehauf Z-Van trailer, designed to reflect mid-century intermodal service. The flatcar features a heavy die-cast underframe, 70-ton roller-bearing trucks, machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, wire-formed brake plumbing, separately applied brake components, raised and lowered hitches, and body-mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers. Weighted for stable performance, it's suited for dedicated intermodal trains or mixed freight and arrives fully decorated and ready to roll.

Complementing the flatcar, the 45-foot Fruehauf Z-Van trailer presents two body styles—smooth-sided and rib-sided—plus separately applied landing gear crank, mud flaps, and a choice of wheeled or shoe-style landing gear with positionable bogies. The highly detailed injection-molded body captures decades of intermodal design, reflecting configurations used from the 1970s through the 1990s.
