This N-scale 13,600-gallon acid tank NATX model is a detailed representation of a prototype NATX acid-tanker car, designed for realistic operation on N-scale layouts with an authentic appearance.

Equipped with body-mounted Type F “double shelf” McHenry couplers, separately applied metal grab irons and handrails, rubber trainline hoses, and coupler cut levers, it also features full underbody brake and train line piping. Etched stainless steel crossover platforms and top platforms, along with two body phases representing early and late NATX designs and corresponding variations in top platforms, brake systems, and end sills, add prototype accuracy. Weighted to NMRA RP-20.1 standards and rolling on machined metal wheels with RP25 contours, it delivers reliable performance on Code 40, 55, and 80 track.
