N 33,900-Gallon LPG Tank Model (ATHGN16894)

This N-scale 33,900-gallon LPG tank car is a highly detailed model designed for realistic freight layouts. It faithfully reproduces the LPG tank car prototype, featuring multiple road numbers and three body styles—early, flat-panel, and late—to reflect variations seen in service. The model’s scale accuracy and detailing make it a convincing addition to any N-scale collection, including a version carrying GATX fleet number 218081.

From the separately applied details such as walkway platforms, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, safety rails, tank saddles and the brake wheel, to the photo-etched walkways and end platforms and wire safety rails, every element aims for prototypical realism. The car rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined RP25 wheels for smooth operation on common track. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and the model is weighted for stability on curves.
