This 33,900-gallon LPG tank car is a precise, detailed model of GATX No. 2, designed for realistic operation on model railroad layouts. It offers multiple road numbers and three body phases—early, flat-panel, and late—to reflect different eras of the prototype.

Detail is delivered through separately applied walkways, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging, safety rail supports, tank saddles, and a brake wheel, along with photo-etched walkways and end platforms. The model rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks and machined wheels with RP25 contours, and is accurately painted and printed for prototypical realism. The injection-molded body is highly detailed and weighted for stable performance, and it runs on all popular track brands with a minimum radius of 9 3/4 inches and a recommended radius of 11 inches.
