N 33,900-Gallon LPG Tank CPDX #2 (ATHGN16908)

An N-scale 33,900-gallon LPG tank car, CPDX No. 2, designed to add authentic LPG-service equipment to a model railroad roster. This detailed model helps recreate the look of a real LPG carrier on a layout, with road-number variations that work as singles or in three-pack sets.

Featuring three body phases—early, flat panel, and late—along with separately applied walkways, manways, outlets, ladders, brake rigging details, safety rail supports, tank saddles, and a brake wheel, the car also includes photo-etched walkways and end platforms, wire safety rails and end handrails, and printed placards for prototypical realism. It rides on screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks with machined RP25 wheels and arrives accurately painted and weighted for stable operation on all popular track brands. Minimum radius is 9¾ inches, with 11 inches recommended. Upgraded details add McHenry double-shelf couplers, bent-wire uncoupling levers, and rubber train-line hoses for enhanced operation.
