N 33,900-Gallon LPG Tank SIRX #1 Model (ATHGN16910)

An N-scale model recreates a 33,900-gallon LPG tank car in the SIRX No. 1 configuration, designed for authentic operation and display on model railways.

Detail is built into every facet, with three body phases representing different eras, separately applied walkways, manways, outlets, ladders, and brake rigging along with safety rail supports, tank saddles and end platforms. The car features photo-etched walkways and end platforms, wire safety rails, printed placards, screw-mounted 100-ton roller bearing trucks, and machined RP25 wheels for prototypical realism. It’s weighted for smooth performance on most track brands and compatible with a minimum radius of 9 ¾ inches (recommended 11 inches). Upgraded features include McHenry double-shelf couplers, bent wire uncoupling levers, and rubber train line hoses for added operational realism.
